Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation (VA&R)

     Seattle Post 1 donates funds twice a year to the Seattle VA Hospital on Columbian Way to help with personal items for inpatients.  They also have sponsored "The Dickens Carolers", four vocalists dressed in old English period costume singing their way through the passageways just before Christmas to help brighten the holidays for those who are spending their holidays there.  The smiles and happy comments from the patients make it all worthwhile.
